Before the survey
Note which rooms are in use, how people reach the windows and whether furniture or finishes need protection. Record the opening and any visible water or finish issues for discussion.
During planning
Confirm how measurements will be checked, what is included in the scope, how old frames will be removed, and how the openings will be protected while work proceeds. Ask how access and clean-up are planned.
